Myleka was a high school scholar athlete in Volleyball and Track & field where she put her explosiveness to use. She enrolled at the Community College of Baltimore County where she became a 2-sport sensation in volleyball and lacrosse. During her lacrosse career there, she was named All-Region, All Maryland JUCO, captain and MVP for both seasons 2013-14.

 

From CCBC Myleka transferred to Missouri Valley College where she was a red-shirt her first year. In her junior year she led her team to a 6-1 record while leading in goals, shots, ground balls, draw controls, and caused turnerovers. Myleka was named Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference First Team All Conference 2016. Her senior year, as team captain, displaying the same determination: led her team to another amazing season.She was named KCAC First Team All-Conference 2017 for the second year in a row. 

 

Myleka graduated with a Bachelor in Science in kinesiology. She has continued her love of lacrosse through coaching, staying 1 year at her alma mater as a volunteer coach. Afterwards, she relocated her skill set to Houston, where Coach Booze is currently in her 5th season coaching at Lamar High School, Lanier Middle School/Hylax hornets and Grit travel lacrosse. She has great plans to continue to growth and diversity in lacrosse.
